04/11/2008 - Luke Mitchell off to Spain.

Paul and Sharon Mitchell contacted BullsEye back in May 2008 to discuss weather stations, and in particular the PerformAIRE Eclipse. Their son Luke Mitchell races Metrakit Junior GP bikes and they were looking to get the most out of the bike to compliment Luke's riding skill.

Though primarily designed for drag racing, the PerformAIRE Eclipse weather station also includes a jet size calculator (see Jetting Calculations for more details) which can be used to improve the performance of any carbureted engine.

After going through the details of how to use the weather station and in particular the jet size calculator, Paul purchased the weather station, had the bike dynoed and set the base line jet size.
Since using the PerformAIRE Eclipse weather station to help make jetting choices, Luke has gone on to achieve the following stellar results:

1. 1st Place - Motorcycle Sportsmen of Queensland Youngstars Series - J2/J3 Class.
2. 1st Place - Metrakit Australia Queensland Junior GP Championship - 70cc Class.
3. 3rd Place - Metrakit Australia Junior GP Championship - 70cc Class (actually pointed equal 2nd, but awarded 3rd on the count back).
4. Invitee (along with 1st and 2nd in the Metrakit Austalia Junior GP Championship - 70cc class) to the World Festival of Champions to compete in the Metrakit World Junior GP Championship - 70cc class. The event will be held in Spain from 26th - 30th November this year.

22/10/2008 - BullsEye Racing wins Holden Nationals.

Kym Oberauer, proprietor of BullsEye Racing Electronics, piloted the BullsEye Racing / Ray's Outdoors Camira to a win in the 9.99 and under bracket at the Holden Nationals, held recently at Heathcote Park Raceway.

"It's a great way to start the season. I have been working on improving the car over the last few months and I'm pleased to see the effort has been rewarded. We started the day with a few test runs and determined that the changes had made the car a little quicker. I created a new database in the weather station and we were in the ball park from the start, running a 9.55 on a 9.54 dial in the 2nd round."

Kym went on to defeat the 2001 VX SS LS1 of Rob Morabito in the final with a backing off 9.77 on a 9.50 after winning the duel at the tree.
